Very real dinosaurs.
Deeply unserious conclusions.
We built a personality quiz with teeth. Answer eight questions about how you operate, optionally let your camera add some visual resemblance, and meet the dinosaur that feels suspiciously like you.
How your dinosaur gets picked
Every session draws one question from each of eight balanced pairs. Your answers create a profile across assertiveness, sociability, curiosity, energy, persistence, and caution. We compare that profile with 24 deliberately invented dinosaur personalities.
If you use the camera, the match combines 70% quiz compatibility with 30% playful resemblance. We use face width, jaw taper, and mouth width normalized to your face. Those measurements are compared with art-directed dinosaur profiles. They do not reveal your personality, ancestry, or anything medically useful.
Skip the camera and your answers do all the work. There is no penalty and no fake default scan. The result explains actual answers you chose, with a visual observation only when a scan contributed.
The jokes are made up. The facts aren’t.
A Stegosaurus probably did not set boundaries in the group chat. The personality archetypes and roasts are our invention. The natural-history sections describe real anatomy, fossil discoveries, and research, with sources and scientific uncertainty included.
Dates and body-size estimates are approximate. Dinosaur appearances are reconstructed from incomplete evidence. Gallery images include fossil photographs, museum displays, and published paleoart; reconstructions aren’t photographs of living animals.
Your face stays on your device.
The browser asks for camera permission only when you choose to open it. A locally served face-landmark model processes camera images on your device. We don’t upload images or face measurements, identify you, or save a facial profile.
Camera access stops when you accept a capture, skip, leave the scan, or hide the page. Retaking starts a new capture. Temporary camera images and measurements are discarded when the scan is finished.
Your question set and answers can be kept in this tab’s session storage so a refresh doesn’t erase progress. Your finalized result is also stored for this tab. Face measurements and photos are never stored there. Starting a new quiz clears the previous result.
No account, cookies for tracking, or analytics are included. Sharing a link opens the public dinosaur profile. Downloading a card creates an image locally with your personal result and the artwork’s attribution.
